Thursday, President Trump’s attorney, Rudy Giuliani, defended Trump while slapping down any talk of impeachment.
A reporter from Sky News caught up with Giuliani during a round of golf on one of President Trump’s golf courses in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. (Video Below)
During the brief interview, while Rudy was on a golf cart, Giuliani declared that impeachment of the President would lead to a people’s revolt, adding that his client was safe.
“I think it’s inevitable that he won’t [be impeached],” he said. “President Trump is completely cleared.”
Giuliani also blasted Michael Cohen‘s credibility, calling him “a massive liar” who knows nothing about alleged Russian collusion and obstruction of justice.
“If anything, it’s turned very much in the president’s favor. I think impeachment would be totally horrible. There’s no reason.” Giuliani explained. (Video Below)
“You’d only impeach him for political reasons, and the American people would revolt against that!” Rudy declared.
During an interview on on Fox News Thursday morning, President Trump also responded saying “if I ever got impeached, I think the market would crash, I think everybody would be very poor, because without this thinking, you would see — you would see numbers that you wouldn’t believe in reverse.”
He added, “I don’t know how you can impeach somebody who’s done a great job.” (Video Below)
Press Seceretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said during Wednesday’s press briefing, “The idea of an impeachment, is frankly, a sad attempt by Democrats.”
