The Hill TV has a television show produced by Koch and it is named Rising. The two commentators are Krystal Ball and Buck Sexton.
The pair invited former CIA Director and Four Star General Michael Hayden onto their show and he performed a flip and defends President Trump.
Hayden does not think President Trump should be impeached!
During the segment, Hayden said, “If President Trump is somehow forced to leave office before the end of his first term, one-third of America — and a lot of them are my friends — will believe it was a soft coup conducted by people.”
It is not clear where Hayden pulled the one-third number from; however, polls indicate 60% of American’s do NOT believe President Trump has committed a criminal or impeachable offense.
Furthermore, the 60% declined from 71% who did not believe the President committed a crime or impeachable offense AFTER the Manafort conviction.
Fortune Magazine reported, “40% expect the probe will find President Donald Trump committed criminal or impeachable offenses.”
“The only way we move beyond this in any way that’s healthy for our democracy is we vote,” Hayden then offered the notion of encouraging the Democrats to actually vote.
Oddly, it sounds exactly like the RED WAVE has them re-thinking their strategy.
SHOCKER! Hayden said the President deserves RESPECT!
Hayden continued to tell Krystal and Buck, “I do think the office and the current occupant of the office deserves the respect that is due any American president, but you bring up the tremendous challenge.”
Since Hayden is on the list to have his security clearance revoked, perhaps this is his attempt at back peddling for brownie points.
Afterall, Hayden does not want to end up like Brennan. Brennan has a CNN contract and no security clearance to go with it, at this point.

Then the double-edged sword. Here comes the SLAM!
During the Rising show, Hayden continued as he followed up with a soft slam, “This is the most norm-busting President in the history of the United States. There are no norms that seem to bind him, none that he is not willing to cross or break for his personal policy or political needs at the moment.”
The former CIA Director then added, “And that is what frightens people like me. In pushing back against that, we are always tempted to break our own norms against pushing back against the most norm busting president.”
Basically, he is saying he does not approve of the Trump policies. That is NOT an impeachable offense. It is what American’s voted him into office to do.
