Last evening, Gregg Jarrett, Fox News’ legal analyst joined Sean Hannity on his show and they discussed Jeff Sessions and his failure to pursue a case against the Democrats.
Jarrett offers his take on WHY Jeff Session’s should RESIGN his position. (VIDEO BELOW.)
First, early this morning, President Trump issued a tweet and he quoted Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC).
The President tweeted, “@LindseyGrahamSC. ‘Every President deserves an Attorney General they have confidence in. I believe every President has a right to their Cabinet, these are not lifetime appointments. You serve at the pleasure of the President.'”
Prior to Senator Graham and Trump’s comments, Joe diGenova, former U.S. D.C. Attorney, suggested a resignation as well!
He said, “Well, the President of the United States was and is entitled to a fully engaged Attorney General. He has never had that.”
Second, diGenova then stated, “Jeff Sessions has no command presence. He doesn’t understand the job that he has. He never has. It is very regrettable but after the next election, Jeff should give the President the courtesy of a resignation.”
Gregg Jarrett, Fox Legal Analyst now calls for the resignation of Jeff Sessions.
In the wee hours of the morning, Fox News issued the following tweet:
.@GreggJarrett on AG Sessions: “When you have lost the confidence of your boss, the President of the United States – when you breach that trust – the good and honorable and right thing to do is to submit your letter of resignation.”
Additionally, Gregg added, “And that’s what Jeff Sessions should have done a long time ago. He, apparently, did it a year ago but the President at the time, felt it was unwise to accept.”
Jarrett is referring to September 2017 when Fox News quoted Jarrett when he said, “Sessions should resign, but not before taking action against Clinton, Comey and Rice.”
