Lanny Davis, the attorney to Michael Cohen is walking back his client’s statement that he has information on Donald J. Trump and the Russians.
The walk back is SO stunning that it makes Michael Jackson’s signature moonwalk dance move where he effortlessly glides backwards look less fantastic!

“Lanny Davis – the attorney for Michael Cohen, has massively back pedaled on ‘confident assertions’ that Cohen would share information with investigators that President Trump knew of Russian efforts to undermine Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton – a lifelong friend of Davis.”
REWIND TO JULY.
CNN took the fake story and ran with it. In a non-stop eulogy to Donald J. Trump and his ties to Russia they faked out their viewers.
CNN ran the headline entitled, “Cohen claims Trump knew in advance of 2016 Trump Tower meeting.”
On July 26th, promoting false news, CNN reported Cohen had information that DJT gave permission for the “meeting between Trump Jr. and Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, arranged by an associate of opposition research firm Fusion GPS,” reported Durden.
YESTERDAY’S PAINFUL BACKPEDDLE.
Yesterday, in the walk back of the century. Davis admitted his client, Michael Cohen lied somewhere along the twisted road of the special counsel.

The Washington Post reported:
“Davis told The Washington Post that he cannot confirm media reports that Cohen is prepared to tell special counsel Robert S. Mueller III that Trump had advance knowledge of the 2016 Trump Tower meeting, where Donald Trump Jr. expected to receive damaging information about Clinton from a Russian lawyer.”
Then in a sentence he destroyed his client’s own credibility and stated in the Washington Post article, “Davis said he should not have expressed such confidence in his information.
‘I should have been more clear — including with you — that I could not independently confirm what happened,’ Davis said, adding: ‘I regret my error,'”
CNN DOUBLES DOWN ON THEIR FAKE NEWS STORY.
In what is clearly a breach of ethics toward the American people. CNN refuses to admit they had the story wrong in July.
After all, they already ran with the fake story that DJT knew about the Trump Tower meeting in advance.
The Washington Post reported, “In the past week, when asked directly by CNN’s Anderson Cooper whether there was information that Trump knew about his son’s meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya beforehand, Davis said: “No, there’s not.”
“In a statement Saturday, a CNN spokeswoman said, “We stand by our story, and are confident in our reporting of it,” reported the Washington Post.
