KO: Tucker Silences Dem To Bed After Exposing The Crooked Thing Obama Did

In a brilliant show down, Tucker Carlson took down Richard Goodstein, a democratic lobbyist and adviser to Bill and Hillary Clinton during the Obama administration.

Point by point, Tucker systematically dismantled the Democratic narrative, then begs the question if the Dems would want their campaign spied upon. (VIDEO BELOW.)

TICK TOCK. Tucker takes the Democrats into the future.

Goodstein is absolutely NO MATCH for Tucker.

First, Carlson cleared up that the Democrats have NO PROBLEM with the fact that then-candidate Trump’s campaign was spied upon.

Specifically, Carlson asked Goodstein, “in a year and a half – we are going to be smack in the middle of the 2020 election. Would you be okay if the Trump administration authorized a wire tap or surveillance of aides to the leading Democratic candidate during the primaries?”

After trying to tell Tucker that there was no spying, Tucker asked Richard, “Oh…I have been following this for the last year and a half, and I thought there was a FISA warrant to spy on [Carter Page]. But – there was no FISA warrant?” (VIDEO BELOW.)

Richard replied, “Of course there was.” Tucker knocked it home and asked, “What’s that warrant for? It’s for spying on someone, isn’t it?”

Amusingly, Richard doubled down and said, “No. It wasn’t REALLY spying.”

Well, the very definition as defined by the AJC of a FISA warrant is “to wiretap someone suspected of spying with or for a foreign government is issued by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court — or FISA Court.”  (VIDEO BELOW.)

The Democrats really need to do better than this. Tucker continued to decimate Richard’s ridiculous narrative which is not based in reality.

What IF Trump administration did what the Obama administration did?

Tucker said to Richard, “You would be cool if the Trump administration got itss Department of Justice to get a FISA warrant to NOT spy, but just surveil for perfectly good reason on aides to the leading democratic candidate in this next election?”

“Because we’ve set a precedence here that that’s totally fine as long as someone mentions the word Russia,” Tucker stated.

“Is it okay to behave like this if Trump is not the target?” Tucker asked again. (VIDEO BELOW.)

“The Obama people have done something that has NEVER been done before that I am aware of. They SPIED on a rival Presidential campaign,” Tucker stated emphatically.

“And that’s okay with you, but would it be okay if Trump did it to the next guy?” And again Tucker asked Richard the same question.

In the end, they both agree that there should be public hearings.

Tucker said, “This is SCARY stuff that Obama did. Really SCARY. You shouldn’t do stuff like that because it’s a terrible precedent.”

For the record, the democratic strategist NEVER answered the question if he would be okay if this happened in the future.

Additionally, President Trump took note of the segment tweeting, ““The Obama people did something that’s never been done…They spied on a rival presidential campaign. Would it be OK if Trump did it next? I am losing faith that our system is on the level. I’m beginning to think it is rotten & corrupt. Scary stuff Obama did.” @TuckerCarlson DOJ”

He continued, ““Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid for information from the Russian government to use against her government – there’s no doubt about that!” @TuckerCarlson”
