After Network Claims They Don’t Lie, Don Jr. Kicks Them Back To The Fake News Factory

Our President is using the Twitter platform as a tool to get the word out about what is truly going on with the fake reports pouring out of CNN.

CNN, however, is doubling down on the false reports as if the Marxist Joseph Goebbels’ words “if you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it” is a good plan.  (VIDEO BELOW.)

Since July of this year, Carl Bernstein has been on CNN reporting that Michael Cohen had information on the Trump Tower meeting, which is not true.

Recently, in a painful admission, the Cohen attorney, Lanny Davis admitted that Cohen had no knowledge of the meeting after all.

US4Trump reported, “When The Post called Cohen’s lawyer, Lanny Davis, at the time to confirm the report, he said as an anonymous source that it was accurate,” the New York Post reported.

Yet, Tuesday – Cohen strikes a plea deal.  Then the same day the Senate Intelligence Committee led by Senator Burr of North Carolina questioned Cohen about the July 27th article.

Suddenly, Cohen and his attorney sing a different tune! According to the New York Post, “Mr. Cohen had testified before the committee that he was not aware of the meeting prior to its disclosure in the press last summer.”

Yet on CNN, Carl Bernstein continuously said that Cohen had information on the now debunked Trump Tower Cohen Connection.

The Hill reported, “Bernstein, known for helping uncover the Nixon-era Watergate scandal, co-wrote an article for CNN in July, reporting that Trump’s former lawyer and “fixer,” Michael Cohen, was willing to tell special counsel Robert Mueller that then-candidate Trump knew about a June 2016 meeting between his son, Donald Trump Jr., and a Russian lawyer promising dirt on Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.”

“Cohen’s attorney, Lanny Davis, later confirmed in a Washington Post report that he was the source for the story, walking back his claim that Cohen knew Trump was aware of the 2016 Trump Tower meeting,” The Hill explained, “I regret not being much clearer in saying I’m not sure about this story,” Davis, who is an opinion contributor at The Hill, told NBC News.”

President Trump tweets about the Bernstein and CNN false attacks on the TRUTH.

President Trump tweeted, “CNN is being torn apart from within based on their being caught in a major lie and refusing to admit the mistake. Sloppy , a man who lives in the past and thinks like a degenerate fool, making up story after story, is being laughed at all over the country! Fake News.” 

CNN replied by doubling down on their own lie. 

“Make no mistake, Mr. President, CNN does not lie. We report the news. And we report when people in power tell lies. CNN stands by our reporting and our reporters. There may be many fools in this story but is not one of them.”

Donald Trump Jr. responded to CNN. 

“., you just lied again by saying you don’t lie. You said Lanny Davis declined to comment when he was in fact a source. Are you kidding me with this BS. Do you have any journalistic credibility at all? I mean seriously??? You’re a joke!!!”

President Trump tweeted the breaking news that Lanny Davis admitted being the anonymous source. 

“Lanny Davis admits being anonymous source in CNN Report.” Oh well, so much for CNN saying it wasn’t Lanny. No wonder their ratings are so low, it’s FAKE NEWS!”

Our President is right on target about CNN ratings. In a well deserved SIXTH place, CNN has plummeted below the History Channel.

Kelly Anne Conway, Counsel to the President was recently on CNN with Cuomo. She said, “I confronted him with the fact that CNN…had let this lie fly for over a month now. And that this… ‘bombshell’ report that they had talked about – had been quickly unraveled and discredited.”

In ending, would it not be easier for CNN to simply give up the lie and the fake news and just admit they made an error and make a retraction and move forward?
