Media Giant Forced To Eat Crow After Publishing Fake Nikki Haley Story

In a lame attempt to ‘curtain shame’ U.N. Ambassador, Nikki Haley – the leftist media got it SO WRONG they officially CORRECTED a FAKE story they ran with!

On Friday, the failing New York Times ran a story titled “Nikki Haley’s View of New York Is Priceless. Her Curtains? $52,701.” (More below.)

It’s ‘curtains’ for the Dems.

The only problem was – Nikki Haley did not purchase the curtains with the price tag of almost fifty-three thousand dollars. The Obama administration did!

In fact, the Trump administration had ZERO to do with the purchase of those curtains.

But pesky little things like FACTS do not hold up the New York Times to print whatever they want – regardless – if it is true or not.

It wasn’t “until the sixth paragraph that Haley’s spokesman said the Trump administration had no input in the purchase decision,” Fox News wrote. (Continued below.)

The failing and lying New York Times changed the title. Too little too late.

After achieving the initial smear on U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley – the NYT changed the title to “State Department Spent $52,701 on Curtains for Residence of U.N. Envoy.”

Additionally, they STILL failed to make it clear that it was the OBAMA ADMINISTRATION and not the Trump Administration in the title.

Finally, the failing New York Times entered a correction as reported by Sean Hannity. (More below.)

The correction reads:

An earlier version of this article and headline created an unfair impression about who was responsible for the purchase in question. While Nikki R. Haley is the current ambassador to the United Nations, the decision on leasing the ambassador’s residence and purchasing the curtains was made during the Obama administration, according to current and former officials. The article should not have focused on Ms. Haley, nor should a picture of her have been used. The article and headline have now been edited to reflect those concerns, and the picture has been removed,” writes the Times.
