Sunday on CNN’s State of Nation, Sen. Mazie Hirono, (D-HI), joined Jake Tapper where they discussed the recent smear job by obstructionist Democrats to take out Judge Brett Kavanaugh.
The conversation was about Kavanaugh’s accuser Christine Basley Ford, and it went downhill fast as Hirono’s bias was written across her forehead. (Video Below)
During the interview, Jake Tapper asked Mazie Hirono, “Doesn’t Kavanaugh have the same presumption of innocence as anyone else in America?”
Hirono dodged the question and said “I put his denial in the context of everything that I know about him in terms of how he approaches his cases.”
“His credibility is already questionable in my mind.” Hirono said as she claimed Kavanaugh has an ideological agenda.
She proceed to bash Kavanaugh based on his beliefs and pulled out her talking points about women’s reproductive choices. (Video Below)
As Hirono dodged the question, Tapper jumped in and then asked “It sounds to me like because you don’t trust him on policy, and because you don’t believe him for instance when he does not have an opinion on Roe vs Wade, you don’t believe him about this allegation at this party in 1982. Is that fair?”
She realized at that point she was being called out and anyone with a brain saw exactly what she was doing.

This is pure bias in the video below. Hirono is basing her judgement purely on Kavanaugh’s policy and beliefs. Watch below and check out some of the comments below the video.

Check out what people had to say about Hirono’s statement below:
OK … Just how do you think he approaches cases? That he starts with one side presumed innocent and one presumed guilty without evidence or prior adjudication?

In other words, no.
No presumption of innocence before due process for a U.S. Citizen on the part of a U.S. Senator.
Those who celebrate Sen. Hirono’s position because it suits their particular moral or ideological stance are remarkably short sighted.
Slippery slope folks…

“Some sort of investigation”…..all 4 witnesses say under oath it never happened. Investigate what exactly?

This is the very definition of the term Feminazi. It is a disgusting bigoted viewpoint. It reminds me of those who defend racism based on crime statistics. It is wrong and this woman should be escorted to the unemployment lines after her next election bid.

The Senator from Hawaii has made it clear that she believes the application of a fundamental constitutional protection is dependent upon whether she likes the accused’s judicial philosophy. This is disgraceful. The presumption of innocence is not based on political expediency.

@maziehirono A US Senator who has no fidelity for the Constitution and who rejects the cornerstone of our criminal justice system – the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.
She and her corrupt cabal will do anything, say anything to stop conservative judges.

Dear Lord, that is inappropriate, especially for a Senator

TRANSLATION: “I hate his judicial philosophy so therefore I am less likely to believe him.”

@jaketapper great interview you in essence pulled out why Dems didn’t handle this thru normal protocol as this isn’t about truth or fairness but keeping a well qualified jurist off the bench coz of judicial philosophy which is not a standard that should be considered

I’m going to go out on a limb here and predict that Keith’s stated position on ‘a woman’s right to choose’ is the only important fact for Sen Hirono. Who votes for these people? Ideology trumps all for them. Disgraceful.
— S Metcalfe (@saml163) September 23, 2018
.@jaketapper The Senator didn’t answer your question, but you let her filibuster for a full minute. The answer is no, she doesn’t think #JudgeKavanaugh is entitled to the same presumption of innocence as every american, because he’s a conservative-Republican.

It seems Sen. Mazie Hirono is on a mission to obstruct, resist, and has a full blown case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
