Moments Ago, Trump Gave Justice Kavanaugh A Heartfelt Apology On Behalf Of The Nation

Monday night, in the East Room of the White House, Associate Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh was sworn in during a ceremony publicly televised for America to see.

It was a joyous and emotional moment as the nation watched after democrats pushed hard to prevent it from happening.

During the ceremony, President Trump apologized to Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his family “on behalf of our nation” for the “campaign of political and personal destruction” he endured during his confirmation process.

The President said it violated “every notion of fairness, decency, and due process.”

“On behalf of our nation, I want to apologize to Brett and the entire Kavanaugh family for the terrible pain and suffering you have been forced to endure.” President Trump said.

“Those who step forward to serve our country deserve a fair and dignified evaluation, not a campaign of political and personal destruction based on lies and deception. What happened to the Kavanaugh family violates every notion of fairness, decency, and due process. In our country, a man or a woman must always be presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.” President Trump explained.

He added that “under historic scrutiny,” Kavanaugh had been “proven innocent.” A series of uncorroborated sexual misconduct allegations rocked Kavanaugh’s confirmation process just days before his nomination was scheduled for a key Senate vote.

Trump thanked top Republicans for fighting diligently for Kavanaugh’s confirmation against the democratic obstruction.  (Video Below)
