There are currently so many jokes about the amount of Native American blood that came from Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) test, it’s difficult to choose the best one.
Everything from a photo of a duck who claimed to be 1/1024th Bald Eagle to a photo of President Trump with “1/1024th out of 1/1024th YOUR President” emblazoned across the bottom. (MORE BELOW.)
Elizabeth’s ex-husband has ties to the person who administered her DNA test.
But what isn’t a joke is that Elizabeth Warren’s ex-husband is a co-founder of a DNA company called FamilyTreeDNA.
Furthermore, “one of the two other co-founders (Bennett Greenspan and Max Blankfeld) of his testing company, FamilyTreeDNA, has worked with Carlos Bustamante, the Stanford University geneticist who administered a DNA test at Elizabeth Warren’s request,” reported Robert Donachie of the Washington Examiner.
Since Bustamante administered the test and runs in the same circles as Warren, could the test have been compromised?
It certainly appears suspicious. Especially since Warren could have used ANY commercial DNA testing service. On a quick search over 20 companies appear like 23 and Me or Ancestry DNA. (MORE BELOW.)
Warren used Bustamante in her commercial to tell the world of her Native American ancestry; however, insignificant the amount.
“Warren hired Bustamante, 43, who appears in the video explaining the test and in a scene in which the Massachusetts senator telephones his office and asks to speak with him. Warren received considerable criticism for the test, which found that her Native American heritage stretch back six to 10 generations, making her between 1/64th and 1/1024th Native American,” Donachie wrote.
One of the co-founders of Warren’s ex-husband said, “he had worked with Carlos Bustamante. Greenspan explained that it can be difficult to test for Native American ancestry because Native Americans “have historically been unwilling and uninterested in participating in this game of identification.”
