Meadows Exposes The Troubling ‘Double Standard’ That Surfaced From Papa’s Testimony

Mark Meadows (R-NC) along with two other Congressmen, John Ratcliffe (R-TX) and Jamie Raskin (D-MD) interviewed George Papadopoulos behind closed-doors on Thursday.

And Cogressman Meadow’s discussed the tremendous double standard. (MORE BELOW.)

Papadopoulos’ Backstory:

George Papadopoulos worked as a foreign policy adviser on the 2016 Trump campaign. A low level position that he was in about one month when he was 28 years-old.

“During a night of heavy drinking at an upscale London bar in May 2016, George Papadopoulos, a young foreign policy adviser to the Trump campaign, made a startling revelation to Australia’s top diplomat in Britain: Russia had political dirt on Hillary Clinton.” Additionally, this was then used to help obtain the FISA warrant to start the Witch Hunt, as reported by the New York Times

All of this culminated in a conviction from the FBI last month.

“[George Papadopoulos] pleaded guilty last month to lying to the FBI about his communications with a foreign professor and was sentenced to 14 days in federal prison,” as reported by Politico. (MORE BELOW.)

Papadopoulos’ Spoke to Congress Thursday. 

After his closed door meeting with the three Congressmen. There are now more questions than answers.

Mark Meadows tweeted, “What’s even clearer after today’s interview with George Papadopoulos: the blatant double standard for the politically connected. Papadopoulos lies to the FBI: goes to prison. Andy McCabe lies to the FBI: walks free, and the left insists he get a full pension. See the problem?”

George Papadopoulos wrote afterward, “Can’t discuss my testimony, but after today’s hearing, this scandal is much worse than anyone can imagine.” There is more that will come to light. And this does NOT bode well for the Mueller Witch Hunt.  (MORE BELOW.)
