GOP Feud: Flake Makes A Sabotaging Threat As McConnell Rejects Mueller Protection Bill

On the heels of a Bill that the Democrats are trying to have approved – Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell shot a hole through it and it was brilliant!

Then Jeff Flake (R-AZ) comes along and tried to pull his weight to force the Republican Senator’s to vote on the Bill that protects Mueller’s Witch Hunt. (VIDEO BELOW.)

McConnell has had enough!

Today after the Republican Leadership Team news conference, McConnell was asked about the Bill that protects the Special Counsel and if President Trump would shut the Witch Hunt down.

McConnell responded, “There’s been NO indication…that the Mueller investigation will not be allowed to finish and it should be allowed to finish.”

“We know how the President feels about the Mueller investigation but he has never said that he wants to shut it down,” he continued.

“I’ve never heard anybody down there say they want to shut it down. I think it’s in no danger. So I don’t think any legislation is necessary,” he said in no uncertain terms. (VIDEO BELOW.)

Flake threatens to pull his votes away from Justice appointments if McConnell does not push the Mueller protection Bill through for the Democrats.

Then in a grand stand, outgoing Senator and Republican in name only from Arizona, Jeff Flake tried to pull a fast one.

Fox News reported that Flake “vowed to pull support for all federal judicial nominees — including 21 pending in the Judiciary Committee and 32 awaiting a vote on the Senate floor — unless the Senate’s GOP leadership permits consideration of legislation to expand protections for Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s job.”

It’s not the first time Flake has used judicial nominees to help the Democrats out – he wanted to try it with trade policy before – Fox News reported. Flake will be replaced by far left leaning Democrat Kyrsten Sinema in January. (VIDEO BELOW.)
