In the event the budget for THE WALL does not pass in Congress, President Trump has a back up plan!
The Daily Caller reported the big reveal when the President was asked if he planned on something else – just in case – the wall did not get the budget. (MORE BELOW.)
THE WALL BUDGET VS. THE CONGRESS.
“House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy introduced a bill in October to fund the wall. The bill, known as the Build the Wall, Enforce the Law Act of 2018, would appropriate $16.6 billion for a “border wall system” along the U.S.-Mexico border,” per The Daily Caller.
The DC continued, “The funding for the Department of Homeland Security, among many other government agencies, expires on December 7,” so if there is a stand-off the Government will shut down.
The Washington Examiner reported Chuck Schumer, Senate Minority Leader who “said Wednesday that Senate lawmakers should ‘stick with their agreement’ to provide no more than $1.6 billion for a southern border wall in the fiscal year 2019 budget.”
Will a shut down happen? President Trump explained, “We need Democrat votes to have a wall,” the president stated, according to WaPo,” per the Daily Caller. POTUS continued, “if the budget does not pass then …there are other potential ways that I can do it. You saw what we did with the military, just coming in with the barbed wire and the fencing, and various other things,” The Daily Caller reported. (MORE BELOW.)
