Disgraced James Comey has refused to comply with a congressional subpoena.

The Obama-era FBI Director was due in front of Congress in a closed-door session the first week of December. (MORE BELOW.)

After being served, Comey had his Attorney draft a letter to Congress.

The letter said, in part, as reported by the Washington Examiner, “‘Mr. Comey respectfully declines your request for a private interview,’  his attorney David Kelley wrote in a letter. ‘He would, however, welcome the opportunity to testify at a public hearing’.”

A public hearing? So he can dog whistle to his cohorts? Or perhaps make a three-ring circus out of it?

Or perhaps it’s to use the phrases that he used previously when he would not comment in June of 2017 while being questioned in an open setting by Congress. Market Watch pegged nine topics that Comey repetitively refused to answer in an ‘open-setting.’

There’s nothing like hiding the TRUTH in plain sight, so to speak;however, Chairman Bob Goodlatte of the House Judiciary Committee is NOT going to allow the disgraced former FBI Director to get away with it. (MORE BELOW.)

Goodlatte slams Comey back to the woodshed with old-fashioned COMMON SENSE.

Goodlatte said, “It appears Mr. Comey believes he deserves special treatment, as he is the only witness refusing to either appear voluntarily or comply with a subpoena. He needs to appear before the Committees, as all other witnesses have done. Let the facts come to light.”

He then added, “The truth IS best served with transparency. What is Director Comey trying to hide from the American people with his baseless motion to quash?
