Obama takes credit for the lower gasoline prices. Then an oil giant tells Obama otherwise. This stuff cannot be made up!
Obama joined Rice University on Tuesday night and while discussing climate control he tried to take credit for the current oil boom! (VIDEO BELOW.)
WOW. Obama is STILL removed from reality and out of touch.
Obama said, “American energy production — you wouldn’t always know it, but it went up every year I was President,” Obama said. “That whole, suddenly America’s, like, the biggest oil producer and the biggest gas — that was me, people,” as reported by The Daily Caller.
Pardon us, while we wipe away a tear from our eye. The laughter is sometimes overwhelming.
The pure narcissistic audacity of this former President who did nothing to help the energy industry to lay claim to the current oil production boom is astounding!
John Hofmeister, former President of Shell Oil joined Fox and Friends and he said, “The facts are the facts. And, yes, the production did increase throughout his term. But, frankly, it had nothing to do with him,” reported Western Journal. (VIDEO BELOW.)
Obama was NOT a friend to the American Oil companies for eight long years.
Hofmeister told America, “If anything, he [Obama] was trying to frustrate the efforts by taking federal lands off of the availability list. Putting them out – just – no more drilling.”
“He shut down the Gulf of Mexico for a period of six months. [He] changed the regulations from an average of 60 to 80 pages per permit to 600 to 800 pages per permit,” the former Shell President said.
Hofmeister continued, “He also never approved the Keystone XL pipeline after dangling all the potential customers for eight years. And it was in the eighth year when he said no Keystone Pipeline.” (VIDEO BELOW.)
Obama was NOT the leader in the oil industry that President Trump is!
“I would say that he [Obama] was not a LEADER when it comes to energy,” Hofmeister said.
It makes American’s wonder if Obama has handlers that tell him he “built that” oil boom. And Obama willingly and blindly believes it!
Or like Hofmeister said, people might believe Obama “but it depends upon how much history ‘do you really know’ versus how much history ‘do you want to reinvent?’”
