Pres Trump Drops Words Of Wisdom To Naysayers Who Oppose The Border Wall: ‘Write Them Off’

President Trump took to Twitter Monday where he gave some advice about the wall.

Trump campaigned on building the wall, and democrats oppose and resist the idea of a wall, simply because it’s Trump. (Video Below)

President Trump held a meeting last week with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Shumer (D-NY) about funding the wall and fixing border security.

The Commander in Chief declared he would be “proud” to shut down the government over the wall funding.

“I am proud to shut down the government for border security. I will take the mantle,” he added. “I will be the one to shut it down, I’m not going to blame you for it.”

Days before a Dec. 21 deadline for funding the government, the President took to twitter with some advice about the wall. (Video Below)

The President on Monday tweeted that any Democrat who says the U.S. can have border security without a wall can be written off “as just another politician following the party line.”

He wrote, “Anytime you hear a Democrat saying that you can have good Border Security without a Wall, write them off as just another politician following the party line. Time for us to save billions of dollars a year and have, at the same time, far greater safety and control!”

Trump has been pushing for Congress to approve $5 billion in funding for the wall. Congress needs to pass a series of funding bills by Dec. 21 to avoid a partial government shutdown. Democrats have refused to provide the $5 billion, reports The Hill. (Video Below)

In addition to the President’s tweet, House majority whip, Steve Scalise, called on Democrat leaders to stand up for the rule of law and secure America’s southern border in an interview on Fox News with Harris Faulkner.

Scalise revealed the Department of Homeland Security has identified more than 600 convicted criminals in the Caravan and have been attacking the border control agents.

“We need to make sure they have the money to be safe, doing their job, keeping America safe.” Scalise said.

He pointed out the people in the Caravan were offered jobs and asylum by the Mexican government but many have turned them down.

“There’s a legal way to come to America; just follow that process. Don’t be part of a Caravan that’s infiltrated by a lot of convicted criminals and potential terrorists. On average, ten known terrorists try to enter America everyday. This is about keeping America safe.” The House majority whip explained.
