Our hard-working, transparent President was up early this morning! And in a pair of tweets, he explained why he is the most powerful man in the world!
Remember, just because Congress made a bad decision by not funding the 5 billion for the wall, doesn’t mean the President has to accept their legislation. (MORE BELOW.)
Trump is the President and he has our National safety on the top of his list.
First, President Trump issued a tweet early this morning around 4:30 Eastern, he said, “With so much talk about the Wall, people are losing sight of the great job being done on our Southern Border by Border Patrol, ICE and our great Military.”
Next, he said, “Remember the Caravans? Well, they didn’t get through and none are forming or on their way. Border is tight. Fake News silent!”
And our President is right. The border is tight. At least according to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection statistics. The CBP said the Southern border has not allowed or apprehended almost twice as many illegal immigrants trying to enter the United States from the same period last year.
“60,745 people were apprehended or were deemed inadmissible while attempting to enter the U.S. illegally via the southern border in October, the first month of the fiscal year 2019 – compared to the 34,871 in the same month in fiscal year 2018,” Fox News reported. (MORE BELOW.)
Just because Congress passed it – doesn’t mean President Trump has to sign it.
Additionally, the Congress has “decided to put off the border wall fight until February,” reported Rollcall. Perhaps, it is because they know President Trump does not have to sign their legislation.
President Trump announced on the heels of his first tweet, “The Democrats, who know Steel Slats (Wall) are necessary for Border Security, are putting politics over Country. What they are just beginning to realize is that I will not sign any of their legislation, including infrastructure, unless it has perfect Border Security. U.S.A. WINS!”
President Trump is leveraging infrastructure with The Wall…America did not lose the war for The Wall. President Trump is serious about protecting Americans and our borders. And he will not sign any legislation unless it includes “perfect Border Security.” Fund the Wall, Congress! (TWEETS BELOW.)
