Donald Trump Jr. joined host Jesse Watters on Fox News Friday night where they discussed the Mueller probe.
Don jr., like his father, dismissed the probe as nothing more than a “witch hunt.” (Video Below)
During the interview, Jesse Watters and Donald Trump Jr. talked about the conspiracy against the President and Don. Jr.’s meeting in the Trump Tower.
Christopher Steele created the dossier, wrote fake dirt about then candidate Donald Trump, then pushed it to the Washington Post, CNN, New York Times and others. Afterwards, the FBI took those reports, and gave it to a FISA judge to help bolster the credibility of the warrant application.
Jesse Watters and Don Jr. agreed that the media knew for a year and a half that the dossier was bogus, and they were working against the Donald Trump.
“No one else could get away with this other than the Obama administration, and this is why it’s clear: they weaponized the FBI and the DOJ to attack the dully elected President of the Untied States.” Don Jr. said. (Video Below)
Jesse asked Don Jr. what this says about the entire investigation. “Is it rotten to the core?”
“Listen, it always has been. It is so ridiculous. Let it go though. The real problem I’ve had with it though, except million of legal fees and lots of time wasted and being smeared throughout the media for years, at least they uncovered this. What if they wouldn’t have? If they would’ve just let it go at this point… There is a little sweet revenge in it for me, and certainly, probably the family, in a sense that if they wouldn’t have done this, this stuff would be going on.” Don Jr. said.
He continued, “This would be going on at the highest levels of government. They’d be continuing to do it to my father, trying to undermine his actions. Imagine how effective he could be, given the year he’s had, without this cloud over his head. I want them to come to a conclusion, because you’ve been looking for two years. You’ve come up with nothing, other than their own nefarious actions and their own collusion. They’ve come up with nothing. So, at this point, you’ve got to come up with something.” He added. Jesse said there have been two competing narratives going on for the last year: “one side on the media and the left that Donald Trump is a colluder, he’s a obstructer of justice, and he was in cahoots with the Russians in order to help win the presidency.”
Jesse Watters added, “On the other hand, it turns out to be true now that the Department of Justice and the FBI, under President Obama, rigged the investigation for Hillary and really turned the screws on Trump, and now it looks like in a corrupt and illegal way. The facts are out now, and the facts belong on this side.”
Don Jr. agreed with Watters statement.
President Trump took note of Watters’ statement and tweeted the statement adding, “Whole Hoax exposed.” (See below)
Further, President Trump wrote on Twitter, “Absolutely nothing” (on Russian Collusion). Kimberley Strassel, The Wall Street Journal. The Russian Collusion fabrication is the greatest Hoax in the history of American politics. The only Russian Collusion was with Hillary and the Democrats!”
