Before The New Year, Trump Reminisced On His Core 2018 Accomplishments & What Is To Come

Before ending the year, President Trump took to Twitter on New Years Eve and dropped a video showing some of 2018’s historic accomplishments.

President Trump stood at the Colonnade of the White House, next to the Oval Office, where he wished America a “very, very Happy New Year!”

“It’s going to be a great year. Complicated, but great. People make it overly complicated, actually. But, I will tell you, there has never been an administration, and I’m very proud of this, that’s done more than the Trump administration in the first two years of office.” The President said.

President Trump explained that the economy is doing great, wages are rising for the first time in many years. “People are getting more money. They are working one job, instead of two or three.” He explained.

He explained the administration is working on new trade deals. He negotiated a new United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA), which will benefit American workers and businesses where North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has failed, according to The White House. (Video Below)

President Trump pointed out the deal made with South Korea, where haters said it couldn’t happen. The revised United States-Korea Trade Agreement includes steps to open up the Korean market to increased American exports, most notably for automobiles, and will allow the United States to continue imposing a 25 percent tariff on Korean trucks until 2041, reported The New York Times.

“We terminated the one sided horrible Iran Nuclear Deal. Then you look at North Korea. We’re doing really well. Rockets aren’t being fired, missiles aren’t being fired. We’re in no rush.” The Commander in Chief pointed out.

President Trump kept his promise by recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and opening the U.S. Embassy there. “I promised it, and I did it.” He said. (Video Below)

The President also discussed border security. “We need, however, borders. You don’t have borders, you don’t have a country.” Trump explained.

“We don’t want drug traffickers or human trafficker, or illegal people with criminal records to come in. Our border patrol, our ICE agents, our military… we’ve done great. But, you can never do it perfectly, unless you have a wall. So, we have to have a wall as part of border security and we’re working on it.” Trump said.

The Commander in Chief said he’s working hard and fighting for the American people. “We’re gonna win. We’re gonna win all the way. We’re gonna win at everything we do!”

He closed the video wishing everyone a Happy New Year, but also poked fun by suggesting he has six more years to go.

“Happy New Year! Let’s enjoy the next year, and then we’re going to enjoy the following year, and then we have four more and everything is going to be so beautiful. Thank you very much and have a fantastic New Year.” President Trump exclaimed.

Trump tweeted, “2018 has been a year of historic accomplishments!”
