Trump Intensifies Pressure On Sanctuary Cities As The 20 Day Rule Zips Front & Center: ‘CHANGE THE LAWS NOW!’

President Trump’s possible plan to release illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities is causing the left to not only meltdown but seemingly backtrack.

This comes after the President took to Twitter on Friday announcing that Democrats are unwilling to change our “very dangerous immigration laws”, and he’s beyond ready to do something about it.

The President said on Friday, “Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities”.

He added, “only The Radical Left always seems to have an Open Borders, Open Arms policy – so this should make them very happy!”

Democrats aren’t happy about the President’s idea though, which seems odd- since they scream about their open arms, no borders, and to let illegal immigrants in. If anyone rejects illegals, according to the left, you are racist. (Continued Below)

Last year, Oakland Mayor, Libby Schaff actually warned illegal immigrants of an impending ICE raid and said she had no regrets.

“I have no regrets, none. The more time goes by, the more certain I feel that I did the right thing in standing up for our community and pointing out our values are not aligned with our laws,” Schaff told BuzzFeed in an interview. “That’s hopefully the message that is sent out.”

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said last year, “We all have a moral responsibility to ensure all children of God are treated with compassion and decency.” (Continued Below)

The Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, has been a backer of the state’s controversial sanctuary state laws that are designed to protect undocumented immigrants from deportation. During his victory speech he said, “This isn’t a state where we criminalize diversity; we celebrate diversity. We don’t reject; we protect the most vulnerable.”

Newsom also promised that California will be a “sanctuary to all who seek it” in a direct affront to the President’s immigration policies.

But, suddenly Newsom changed his tune yesterday and attacked the President calling Trump’s proposal to release immigrants into sanctuary cities “asinine”

On Saturday night the President doubled down and blasted Democrat’s over their hypocrisy.

First, he called out the The New York Times for publishing fake news.

“The New York Times Sanctuary Cities/Immigration story today was knowingly wrong on almost every fact. They never call to check for truth. Their sources often don’t even exist, a fraud. They will lie & cheat anyway possible to make me look bad. In 6 years they will be gone.” He began. (Continued Below)

Trump added of the paper, “When I won the Election in 2016, the @nytimes had to beg their fleeing subscribers for forgiveness in that they covered the Election (and me) so badly. They didn’t have a clue, it was pathetic. They even apologized to me. But now they are even worse, really corrupt reporting!”

“I never offered Pardons to Homeland Security Officials, never ordered anyone to close our Southern Border (although I have the absolute right to do so, and may if Mexico does not apprehend the illegals coming to our Border), and am not “frustrated.” It is all Fake & Corrupt News!” Trump continued.

Trump’s tweets came following reports that he had directed acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan to close the border and– perhaps as a joke –offered to pardon him if things went sideways.

President Trump then slammed the Mayor of Oakland after she rejected Trump’s give of love.

He wrote, “So interesting to see the Mayor of Oakland and other Sanctuary Cities NOT WANT our currently “detained immigrants” after release due to the ridiculous court ordered 20 day rule. If they don’t want to serve our Nation by taking care of them, why should other cities & towns?”

Then, the Commander in Chief intensified pressure and declared, “Democrats must change the Immigration Laws FAST. If not, Sanctuary Cities must immediately ACT to take care of the Illegal Immigrants – and this includes Gang Members, Drug Dealers, Human Traffickers, and Criminals of all shapes, sizes and kinds. CHANGE THE LAWS NOW!” (Video Below)

Lastly the President announced, “Just out: The USA has the absolute legal right to have apprehended illegal immigrants transferred to Sanctuary Cities. We hereby demand that they be taken care of at the highest level, especially by the State of California, which is well known or its poor management & high taxes!”

President Trump seems ready to step up his fight with the cities, vowing to “give them an unlimited supply” of immigrants from the border.
