Schumer Claims Trump Is Bluffing On Mexico Tariffs, Trump Fires Back: ‘What A Creep’

President Trump has Mexico’s full attention as days tick down to the June 10 deadline that he said tariffs will go into effect if something drastic doesn’t change at the border.

While Mexico is taking Trump’s tariff threat very seriously, Senator Chuck Schumer insinuated, on Tuesday, that the President is bluffing.

In a Senate floor speech, Schumer said, “Frankly, I don’t believe that President Trump will actually go through with the tariffs.”

He added, “President Trump has a habit of talking tough and then retreating, because his policies often can’t be implemented or don’t make sense … so I wouldn’t be surprised at all if President Trump doesn’t follow through on these tariffs, either.”

President Trump caught wind of what Schumer said while on his trip abroad, and swiftly fired right back at the Senator. See Below

Trump reacted by saying, “Can you imagine Cryin’ Chuck Schumer saying out loud, for all to hear, that I am bluffing with respect to putting Tariffs on Mexico. What a Creep.”
