Tom Fitton gave his reaction to John Dean’s testimony while appearing on Lou Dobbs’ Monday program.
Fitton implied that Dean can’t be taken seriously as he has made a living attacking Republicans since being convicted in the Watergate scandal.
Fitton said, “He’s been working at CNN and is a so-called expert on these issues. He’s just an anti-Republican activist, like CNN is an activist organization geared against conservatives and in favor of liberalism.”
He went on to say, “But, you know, the key point here is if there is anything Watergate-related, it’s the actions of the Obama Administration.”
Fitton brought up the “unprecedented spying” on Trump’s 2016 campaign that took place with efforts by multiple intel agencies under Obama. And on top of that, “Obama used the IRS to target his political opponents.”
Fitton concluded, “When you talk about corruption, and Nixonian levels of corruption, Obama makes Nixon look like a piker, in terms of abuse of power to target and try to destroy his political enemies.” Video Below
