President Donald Trump spoke with the press on Friday before departing for Milwaukee, Wisconson where he will visit Derco Aerospace to tour the manufacturer’s facility and is expected to push for the passage of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, USMCA.
The President responded to a question about the “fab four” feuding between Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and the radicals in the Democrat party.
In recent days, Pelosi questioned the level of influence of radical leftist members of Congress, such as Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Rashida Tlaib after they failed to vote for the $4.5 billion humanitarian package for migrants at the border. This led to Cortez firing back at Pelosi, accusing her of “explicit singling out of newly elected women of color,” as reported by The Freedom Times.
President Trump defended Speaker Pelosi Friday and said that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) should treat Pelosi “with respect”.
“I think Cortez is being very disrespectful to somebody who has been there a long time. I deal with Nancy Pelosi a lot, and we go back and forth and it’s fine. But, I think a group of people is being very disrespectful to her,” President Trump said. “And you know what? I don’t think Nancy can let that go on.”
“A group of people that came from… I don’t know where they came from,” he said referring to the four freshmen Democrat Congresswomen.. (Continued Below)
“I’m looking at this [Ilhan] Omar from Minnesota”, President Trump continued. “If one-half of the things they’re saying about her are true, she shouldn’t even be in office.”
“But Cortez should treat Nancy Pelosi with respect. She should not be doing what she’s doing. And, I’ll tell you something about Nancy Pelosi that you know better than I do…” he said.
“She is not a racist, okay. She is not a racist. For them to call her a racist is a disgrace!” The President expressed. (Video Below)
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told Sean Hannity on Thursday that Republicans are now more likely to take the House back as a result of the breakdown by Democrats and coined Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley as the “Fab Four.”
“If you cross AOC and the Fab Four, you’re gonna get a primary, and if you vote with them, you’re gonna lose in the general election,” Graham said. “The energy of the Fab Four and the practicality of Nancy Pelosi,” which Graham said is a “no-win situation,” reported The Freedom Times.
