Trump RIPS FOX Over Their Dem Coverage & Employment Of Juan, Shep & Donna: ‘Fox Isn’t Working For Us Anymore!’

President Trump took to Twitter Wednesday morning where he blasted Fox News in a series of tweets after a segment aired with DNC communications director Xochitl Hinojosa.

Hinojosa spoke with anchor Sandra Smith on “America’s Newsroom” discussing the upcoming Democratic presidential debate and the deadline to qualify for next month’s event, which is Wednesday.

President Trump pushed back at Sandra Smith as she allowed Hinojosa to “spew out whatever she wanted with zero pushback.”

The President wrote on Twitter, “Just watched @FoxNews heavily promoting the Democrats through their DNC Communications Director, spewing out whatever she wanted with zero pushback by anchor, @SandraSmithFox. Terrible considering that Fox couldn’t even land a debate, the Dems give them NOTHING!”

The DNC announced in March the party would not allow Fox News to host primary debates, claiming they would not be “fair and neutral” forums for the candidates.

“I believe that a key pathway to victory is to continue to expand our electorate and reach all voters,” DNC Chairman Tom Perez said in a statement to The Washington Post that cited a critical article in The New Yorker. “That is why I have made it a priority to talk to a broad array of potential media partners, including Fox News. Recent reporting in the New Yorker on the inappropriate relationship between President Trump, his administration and Fox News has led me to conclude that the network is not in a position to host a fair and neutral debate for our candidates. Therefore, Fox News will not serve as a media partner for the 2020 Democratic primary debates. (Continued Below)

“We hope the DNC will reconsider its decision to bar Chris Wallace, Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, all of whom embody the ultimate journalistic integrity and professionalism, from moderating a Democratic presidential debate. They’re the best debate team in the business and they offer candidates an important opportunity to make their case to the largest TV news audience in America, which includes many persuadable voters,” Fox News Senior Vice President Bill Sammon responded in a statement.

President Trump continued on Twitter Wednesday, “CNN & MSNBC are all in for the Open Border Socialists (or beyond). Fox hires ‘give Hillary the questions’ Donna Brazile, Juan Williams and low ratings Shep Smith. HOPELESS & CLUELESS! They should go all the way LEFT and I will still find a way to Win – That’s what I do, Win. Too Bad!”

“I don’t want to Win for myself, I only want to Win for the people. The New FoxNews is letting millions of GREAT people down! We have to start looking for a new News Outlet. Fox isn’t working for us anymore!” the President declared. (Continued Below)

The President has favored Fox News over other outlets for much of his presidency, regularly tweeting out quotes from network personalities and sitting for interviews with Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Harris Faulkner, Chris Wallace, Maria Bartiromo and the hosts of “Fox & Friends, as reported by The Hill.

It is worth noting that in March, Former House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) joined the board of Fox Corporation, a new standalone entity that houses Fox News Channel and the Fox broadcast network, according to Variety.

Hinojosa also responded on Twitter following President Trump’s criticism of her appearance on Fox News: “Thanks for watching. It’s pronounced So-Chi, you know, like the city in Russia,” she wrote. (Video Below)
