‘The Times Is DEAD’: Trump Calls For NYT Resignations, Cites The Kav ‘Smear Story’ & ‘The Russian Witch Hunt Hoax’

Moments before his New Mexico rally, President Trump unleashed a fresh attack directed at those at the New York Times who were “involved in the Kavanaugh SMEAR story.”

On Saturday, the New York Times sparked uproar on the left after publishing an opinion piece implicating Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in resurfaced allegations of sexual misconduct involving an accuser by the name of Debrah Ramirez.

The Times claimed to have new corroborations to Ramirez’s story that surfaced during Kavanaugh’s nomination process. And the authors of the article insinuated that law enforcement and the Senate Judiciary Committee did not do enough to look into the matter.

As a result, several politicians from the left called for Kavanaugh to be impeached, and it seemed as if America was about to live a re-run of the “disgusting” smear campaign against Kavanaugh that took place while he was being nominated to the Supreme Court.

Things, however, turned shaky for the New York Times on Monday, when the company updated their original article to include the fact that Ramirez admitted that she had no direct recollection of Kavanaugh exposing himself to her, as she accused him of doing.

President Trump lashed out at the New York Times on Monday evening, calling for some accountability for all involved in publishing what appears to be a calculated hit piece against Mr. Kavanaugh. See Below

“I call for the Resignation of everybody at The New York Times involved in the Kavanaugh SMEAR story, and while you’re at it, the Russian Witch Hunt Hoax, which is just as phony!” President Trump demanded in a tweet.

“They’ve taken the Old Grey Lady and broken her down, destroyed her virtue and ruined her reputation,” he continued. “She can never recover, and will never return to Greatness, under current Management.”

“The Times is DEAD, long live The New York Times!” Trump concluded. See Below
