In A Firey Sunday Statement, Trump Blasts Dems, Schiff & The Whistleblower: ‘Big Consequences!’

President Donald Trump took to Twitter Sunday evening in a series of tweets, where he blasted Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA), along with calling for the outing of the whistleblower involving his phone call with Ukraine’s president– warning there could be “Big Consequences.”

The President’s tweets come after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) declared a formal “impeachment inquiry” last week and Schiff, who is helping lead the probe into the phone call, has said the whistleblower is likely to testify behind closed doors on Capitol Hill.

“Like every American, I deserve to meet my accuser, especially when this accuser, the so-called ‘Whistleblower,’ represented a perfect conversation with a foreign leader in a totally inaccurate and fraudulent way. Then Schiff made up what I actually said by lying to Congress,” the President tweeted Sunday.

“His lies were made in perhaps the most blatant and sinister manner ever seen in the great Chamber. He wrote down and read terrible things, then said it was from the mouth of the President of the United States. I want Schiff questioned at the highest level for Fraud & Treason,” he continued.

“In addition, I want to meet not only my accuser, who presented SECOND & THIRD HAND INFORMATION, but also the person who illegally gave this information, which was largely incorrect, to the ‘Whistleblower.’ Was this person SPYING on the U.S. President? Big Consequences!” President Trump declared.

Then he added, “These Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, are doing great harm to our Country. They are lying & cheating like never before in our Country’s history in order to destabilize the United States of America & it’s upcoming 2020 Election. They & the Fake News Media are Dangerous & Bad!” (Continued Below)

The White House released on Wednesday, not only the transcript of the call, but also the whistleblower’s complaint and the intelligence community’s inspector general’s report.

The impeachment inquiry marks a significant turning point in the Trump era, with the vast majority of House Democrats now backing the proceedings. Even if the lower chamber does decide to impeach Trump, the GOP-controlled Senate is likely not to convict Trump of any wrongdoing. The president and his allies have repeatedly denied any wrongdoing and insist impeachment will be a winning development for them as they head into the 2020 election, as per The Hill.

The President followed up with another tweet on Sunday quoting Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ) on impeachment: “All that’s swirling around us now is Impeachment. We talk about it day and night, it’s what’s on the news, there is NOTHING that has turned up that is Impeachable. Our founding fathers set impeachment to be extremely rare. We need to get good stuff done. Let the people vote we are going to have an Election very shortly.” Rep. Jeff Van Drew, Democrat of New Jersey. @foxandfriends” adding, “Thank you. Just another Witch Hunt by Nancy Pelosi and the Do Nothing Democrats!” (Continued Below)

On Saturday, President Trump wondered, “Can you imagine if these Do Nothing Democrat Savages, people like Nadler, Schiff, AOC Plus 3, and many more, had a Republican Party who would have done to Obama what the Do Nothings are doing to me. Oh well, maybe next time!”

The Commander in Chief on Friday declared that Schiff “must resign and be investigated” writing on Twitter, “Rep. Adam Schiff totally made up my conversation with Ukraine President and read it to Congress and Millions. He must resign and be investigated. He has been doing this for two years. He is a sick man!”

Schiff said Sunday in an interview on ABC’s “This Week,” that House lawmakers have reached an agreement with the whistleblower who filed a complaint about President Trump’s July call with Ukrainian President Zelensky to testify before a congressional committee.

He also said that the agreement with the whistleblower and his or her lawyers has been settled and that there are precautions being taken to protect the identity of the person amid the criticism from President Trump and his allies.

“As with [acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph] Mcguire, that whistleblower will be allowed to come in without White House or DOJ lawyers to tell him or her what they can or can’t say,” Schiff said. “We are taking all the precautions we can to protect the whistleblower’s identity. With President Trump’s threats, you can imagine the security concerns here.” (Video Below)
