Trump Rips Democrats’ Rhetoric Over Iran: They’re “Trying To Make Soleimani Into A Wonderful Guy”

President Donald Trump took to Twitter Monday where he ripped Democrats and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) over their rhetoric pertaining to the currents events with Iran and Qassem Soleimani.

On Sunday, Pelosi interviewed with host George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” and downplayed the anti-regime protests that have erupted, in response to the downing of a Ukraine jet carrying 176 people last week.

Speaker Pelosi was asked if she supported the protesters and whether it would be a good thing if the regime fell. “The protesters are protesting– as I understand it, this brand of protesters–about the fact that the plane went down. And many students were on that plane and these are largely students in the street,” she said.

“I think the Iranians should have not had commercial flights going off… whatever it is, the fact is this: there were protesters in the streets before against the regime,” Pelosi said. “After the taking out of Soleimoni, there were protesters in the street together, as you know, against us. That wasn’t good. Taking down this plane was a terrible, terrible tragedy. And they should be held accountable for letting commercial flights go at a time that was dangerous.”

“But there are different reasons why people are in the street,” she claimed.

The hashtag “#NancyPelosiFakeNews” began trending on Monday on Twitter, with accounts accusing Pelosi of defending the regime and her characterization of the current protests. (Continued Below)

“The Democrats and the Fake News are trying to make terrorist Soleimani into a wonderful guy, only because I did what should have been done for 20 years. Anything I do, whether it’s the economy, military, or anything else, will be scorned by the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats!” the president hit back.

“The Fake News Media and their Democrat Partners are working hard to determine whether or not the future attack by terrorist Soleimani was ‘imminent’ or not, & was my team in agreement. The answer to both is a strong YES., but it doesn’t really matter because of his horrible past!” President Trump proclaimed, calling out the propagandists. (Video Below)
