President Trump Blasts Bloomberg As Biden Wins South Carolina: “Should Be The End Of Mini Mike”

Former Vice President Joe Biden is projected to win Saturday’s South Carolina Democratic presidential primary election. Saturday was the first time in his three presidential runs that he can claim a victory in a state primary or caucus.

President Donald Trump wasted no time weighing in on the results of Saturday’s Democratic primary in South Carolina, taking to Twitter to blast Mike Bloomberg after the media called a victory for Biden.

“Sleepy Joe Biden’s victory in the South Carolina Democrat Primary should be the end of Mini Mike Bloomberg’s Joke of a campaign,” the president declared on Twitter.

“After the worst debate performance in the history of presidential debates, Mini Mike now has Biden split up his very few voters, taking many away!” he pointed out.

Bloomberg was not on the ballot in South Carolina, choosing instead to bypass early presidential contests to focus on Super Tuesday on March 3, USA Today reported.

Entering Saturday, Sanders held a commanding lead in the overall delegate count with 45. Former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg sat in second place with 26 delegates, Biden had 15, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren had eight, and Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar had seven. South Carolina’s results will more than likely launch Biden into second place in the delegate count, reported Daily Caller. South Carolina Democratic Rep. James Clyburn, the House Majority Whip, endorsed Biden just days before the primary. “I know Joe Biden. I know his character, his heart, and his record. Joe Biden has stood for the hard-working people of South Carolina. We know Joe. But more importantly, he knows us,” Clyburn tweeted on Wednesday. “In South Carolina, we choose presidents. I’m calling on you to stand with @JoeBiden.”

Exit polls from NBC News showed that 55% of Saturday’s voters were black, 41% were white, and 3% were Latino.

President Trump, at CPAC on Saturday, also mocked Bloomberg’s performance in last week’s Democratic debate in Las Vegas, in which the former New York City mayor was criticized by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). Warren had shamed Bloomberg for allegedly calling women “fat broads” and “horse-faced lesbians”. (Video Below)
