Devin Nunes (CA-R), Chairman of the United States House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) weighs in on the Rosenstein indictment of the 12 Russians.
Devin retweeted what Mollie Hemingway, Senior Editor of The Federalist said.
Hemingway reminded everyone that the House Intelligence Committee had already discovered everything Rosenstein indicted the Russians for.
Mollie tweeted, “Anyone who months ago read HPSCI/Nunes report on Russian meddling learned very little new information from today’s indictment.”
Furthermore, Devin tweeted, “Specifically you only had to read page 4 findings 7-10. Just reading Chapter 2 you would have got the gist of it..all this despite the ridiculous redactions. Locating the pages from the report that the Chairman talked about in his tweet, it turns out, he is correct. Click here for the full report. Chapter 2 is entitled “Russia Attacks The United States.”
The heading is certainly clear. After checking out Finding numbers 7-10,clearly Congress oversight had already reported that Russia was involved in cyber attacks during the Obama era.(Continued Below)

Moreover, #25 clearly states, “When asked directly, none of the interviewed witnesses provided evidence of collusion, coordination, or conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government.”

Now we know why Rosenstein would say such a thing. Of course, he doesn’t want Congressional Oversight, specifically, showcasing exactly the reason why it is necessary.
