Originally, Donald J. Trump ran for the highest office in the land and was doing well in the Republican primaries.
McConnell wasn’t so thrilled with the prospect of a “President Trump.”
In fact, back then, McConnell was quoted as saying to his colleagues, “they would ‘drop him like a hot rock‘ if the flamboyant real estate mogul won the nomination,” reported the Washington Examiner.
However, the Senate Majority Leader has changed his tune BIG LEAGUE! (MORE BELOW.)
McConnell gave GLOWING PRAISE to the Trump Administration!
In what can only be considered another HUGE WIN, President Trump is making CONGRESS GREAT AGAIN!
Mitch said to the Washington Examiner, “this Congress has been the best two years of my time here.” WOW!
Of course it begs the question, WHY is it the BEST two years? After all, it is a hefty compliment considering Mitch “is the longest-serving U.S. Senator from Kentucky in history!” (MORE BELOW.)
