Our First Lady and Second Lady are honoring our Veterans this Holiday season. On Monday, the dynamic duo joined the American Red Cross.
“Melania Trump and Karen Pence are helping to assemble military comfort kits for troops deployed overseas at the American Red Cross in Washington, D.C.,” reported AP. (VIDEO BELOW.)
Melania and Karen made kits for our soldier overseas.
AP reported that Melania said, “one small way that we can say thank you and honor the sacrifices that members of the military make year-round.”
So…what are in the kits? “The packages contain snacks such as popcorn and peanuts, playing cards and toiletries including bottles of hand soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and tissues,” AP revealed.
Which of our hard-working soldier will receive them? “They will be sent to troops deployed in Iraq, Poland, Djibouti and Kuwait,” the AP told America. (VIDEO BELOW.)

Melania tweeted, “As the holiday season begins, we remember all our brave men and women serving overseas. Honored to join @SecondLady at the @RedCross this morning to make comfort kits for our troops currently deployed. Thank you for your service!”
Then our sweet and gracious First Lady sent out this tweet with a video attached on Wednesday. “Sending our love & support to the troops this holiday season. Honored to visit the @RedCross w @SecondLady yesterday to help create comfort kits for military who are currently deployed. Thank you for all you do!”
