Friday marked another twist in Robert Mueller’s investigation into whether or not there was collusion between President Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russia.
Roger Stone was arrested and charged with crimes that are thought to have happened after Mueller’s investigation began, primarily related to Stone allegedly making false statements to Congress.
After reading Stone’s indictment in full, critics to the Special Counsel were troubled by the double standard that clearly seems to be put in place.
Many well-known figures on the left, including Hillary Clinton, James Comey, John Brennan and James Clapper have been proven to have lied to Congress in their testimonies without being indicted, arrested and charged in the manner that Roger Stone was.
And that is exactly what President Trump focused on in his Saturday morning tweet.

Trump said, “If Roger Stone was indicted for lying to Congress, what about the lying done by Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Lisa Page & lover, Baker and soooo many others? What about Hillary to FBI and her 33,000 deleted Emails? What about Lisa & Peter’s deleted texts & Wiener’s laptop? Much more!”
