First Lady Melania Trump has a heart of pure gold.
Despite the negative coverage the media gives her, she persists and continues to sparkle. (Video Below)
Like last year, the First Lady traveled to the Children’s Inn at National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland for an afternoon of Valentine’s Day festivities with some of their young patients. She loves children and always opens her big heart to special kids.
The First Lady has maintained an effort to fit in time with children at events both foreign and domestic, and today she was dressed in pretty pink, making Valentines crafts with the children and spent time warming their hearts. She was so sweet to them.
In the video below, Melania can be seen handing out candy to children, making Valentine’s globes, decorating cards, and creating candy grams.
Towards the end, a young boy presented Melania a bouquet of white roses, and she hugged him with gratitude. The First Lady asked the young boy to come and visit her at the White House. (Video Below)
Before leaving, Melania could be heard telling the children to stay strong and well, then she walked around with a basket and handed out special Valentine’s Day cards from her to the children.
The First Lady also took to Twitter after her visit at the Children’s Hospital and wrote, “Loved sharing an afternoon with such sweet valentines! Your bravery, strength, and love is amazing.”
She added, “Thank you to the @TheChildrensInn and @NIH for the lifesaving work you are doing! #HappyValentinesDay” (Video Below)

Today, genuine compassion thrives in the White House with Melania as our First Lady. She’s an extraordinary, talented role model who is entirely underestimated by those who don’t understand her sheer importance, and the strong messages she delivers with her graceful and humble actions.
She leads by her own example of being a loving person, who thinks of ways to reach out, and help others more than themselves. This was clearly shown as a resemblance of her heart and her true character. We all can be excited to watch and see what she does in her future endeavors!
