Former Vice President Joe Biden has officially entered the 2020 race for president joining a crowded pool of radical left hopefuls.
Biden made his campaign announcement Thursday morning in a video posted to Twitter.
In his video, Creepy Joe targeted President Trump right away with a scene of violence that occurred in Charlottesville, VA in 2017.
“And that’s when we heard the words of the President of the United States that stunned the world and shocked the conscience of this nation,” said Biden.
He also claimed President Trump assigned a moral equivalence between the group of white supremacists and a group of peaceful counter-protestors.
“I believe history will look back on four years of this President and all he embraces as an abhorrent moment in time, but if we give Donald Trump 8 years in the White House, he will forever and fundamentally alterthe character of this nation,” he continued. (Continued Below)
President Trump reacted to Biden’s announcement Thursday on Twitter:
“Welcome to the race Sleepy Joe.” Trump wrote.
“I only hope you have the intelligence, long in doubt, to wage a successful primary campaign. It will be nasty – you will be dealing with people who truly have some very sick & demented ideas. But if you make it, I will see you at the Starting Gate!” He added. (Video Below)
