Al Green Says Impeaching Trump Will Prevent Re-Election, Trump Fires Back: ‘In Other Words, Dems Can’t Win The Election Fairly’

Rep. Al Green took his ongoing call for impeaching President Trump to a whole new level on Sunday.

Green voiced his concern in an MSNBC interview that not impeaching Trump will lead to his re-election and said America is facing “a constitutional crisis.”

He also said that impeaching Trump must happen because “the soul of the nation” and “the soul of the Congress” are at risk.

Green said, “If we allow political expediency to trump moral imperative, we will have created a shameful situation that this Congress will never live down — history won’t be kind to us, we must impeach him.”

In regards to Green’s implication that impeachment will prevent the President’s re-election, Trump said, “In other words, Dems can’t win the election fairly. You can’t impeach a president for creating the best economy in our country’s history.”

He continued, “Also, there are ‘No High Crimes & Misdemeanors,’ No Collusion, No Conspiracy, No Obstruction.”

Trump then declared, “ALL THE CRIMES ARE ON THE OTHER SIDE, and that’s what the Dems should be looking at, but they won’t. Nevertheless, the tables are turning!” Video Below
