Don Jr. Briefly Roasts Eric Swalwell In Wake Of His 0% Polling: ‘Slightly Over 0% Of People Like Me’

Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell has faced a major uphill battle since announcing his bid for the 2020 Democrat Presidential Nomination.

Swalwell, the far left Anti-Trumper from California, received 0% support in a recent Monmouth University poll among the two dozen or so other Democrat nominees. And it doesn’t appear to be getting any better, as he didn’t even make it on the map once Real Clear Politics inserted all of the latest polls ending on 6/4/2019.

Donald Trump Jr. upped the ante on his trolling of Swalwell after seeing the latest polling data.

In a classic tweet, Don Jr. posted a picture of Swalwell paired up next to former Democrat Senator Al Franken’s Saturday Night Live character Stuart Smalley.

He captioned the picture, “.@ericswalwell because I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and gosh darn it, according to @RealClearNews, slightly over 0% of the people like me.”

When asked why he remains in the race after being so far behind, Swalwell said that feels a responsibility to run because his generation is going to be worse off than the next generation and he wants to do something about it.

He declared, “I’m not gonna give up. It’s early in the race and I’m gonna keep fighting.”

In ending, here is a tweet of Don Jr. mocking a campaign pitch by Swalwell.
