Trump & Huckabee Issue Heartfelt Reactions As Sarah Sanders Announces Her Departure

President Trump announced on Thursday that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving her position at the end of the month and heading back to Arkansas.

Trump called Sanders onto the stage where she praised the President in a sentimental moment before he made remarks at the “Second Chance” event at the White House.

President Trump took to Twitter on Thursday and wrote, “After 3 1/2 years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month and going home to the Great State of Arkansas”.

He added, “She is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope she decides to run for Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic. Sarah, thank you for a job well done!”

“We’ve been through a lot together and she’s tough, but she’s good,” President Trump further said at the White House event.

Sanders also took to Twitter and wrote, “I am blessed and forever grateful to @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to serve and proud of everything he’s accomplished. I love the President and my job. The most important job I’ll ever have is being a mom to my kids and it’s time for us to go home. Thank you, Mr. President!” (Continued Below)

The Press Secretary called serving the President an “honor of a lifetime” and said she “couldn’t be prouder” of the administration’s work.

“I’ve loved every minute, even the hard minutes,” she said, calling her role the “most special experience” of her life second only to being a mom of three.

Sarah’s father, former Arkansas Governor, Mike Huckabee also wrote on Twitter, “Well, @realDonaldTrump is losing @PressSecwho is a great one and I say that with as much objectivity as Fake News CNN has toward @POTUS”. (Video Below)
