Trump Clarifies His ‘Foreign Oppo’ Remarks, SLAMS Dems Reaction To It: ‘How Can You Report Something That You Don’t Know?’

On Friday, President Trump spoke with the hosts of “Fox and Friends” where he responded to the outrage the left stirred up after an interview with ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos.

Asked whether Trump’s campaign would accept damaging information against his 2020 rivals during the upcoming presidential race from foreigners — such as China or Russia — or hand it over the FBI, Trump said, “I think maybe you do both.”

Further, he noted that he has meetings with a lot of world leaders where those things could come up. “If they say, ‘Gee, we don’t like your opponent’, am I supposed to put the President of France, am I supposed to report him to the FBI?” Trump asked. “I’m in a little bit of a different position than a lot of other people.
