Trump Breaks His Silence On Tlaib’s Tearful Press Conference Speech: ‘Sorry, I Don’t Buy Rep. Tlaib’s Tears’

President Donald Trump took to Twitter Tuesday where he slammed Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) after the press conference that she and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) held on Monday.

This comes as Omar and Tlaib were denied entry to Israel last week. The two congresswomen canceled their planned trip, despite Israel granting permission to enter the Jewish state on humanitarian grounds.

On Monday during their press conference, Ilhan and Tlaib condemned Israel and pushed back at Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump.

Tlaib claimed that “it is unfortunate that Prime Minister Netanyahu has apparently taken a page out of Trump’s book and even direction from Trump to deny this opportunity.”

She described a visit as a young girl to her grandparents and extended family while crying and said, “I watched as my mother had to go through dehumanizing checkpoints, even though she was a United States citizen and a proud American. I remember visiting east Jerusalem with my husband, and him [being] escorted off the bus although he was a United States citizen, just so security forces could harass him.

“All I can do as the granddaughter of a woman who lives in occupied territory is to elevate her voice by exposing the truth,” Tlaib said. “The only way I know how, as my Detroit public school teachers taught me, is by humanizing the pain of oppression. Our delegation trip included meetings with Israeli veterans who were forced to participate in military occupation.” (Continued Below)

President Trump broke his silence on Tlaib’s tearful press conference and responded Tuesday on Twitter.

“Sorry, I don’t buy Rep. Tlaib’s tears. I have watched her violence, craziness and, most importantly, WORDS, for far too long. Now tears?” the President asked.

“She hates Israel and all Jewish people. She is an anti-Semite. She and her 3 friends are the new face of the Democrat Party. Live with it!” he declared. (Video Below)
