Pres Trump & First Lady Melania Greeted With Massive Applause While Arriving At National Championship

President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania were greeted with massive cheers and applause Monday when they arrived at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana to attend the 2020 College Football Playoff National Championship game between the Clemson Tigers and LSU Tigers.

The First Couple walked out onto the field for the national anthem prior to the start of the game, and the fans gave a standing ovation, cheered, and chanted “USA”, as the Trump’s made their way to the 40-yard-line for the Star-Spangled Banner.

Last year, President Trump hosted the Clemson Tigers at the White House after they beat the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship game.

In November, President Trump was greeted with thundering applause when he attended a rivalry game between LSU and Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Most recently, in December, President Trump attended the 120th Army-Navy college football game at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field for the third time during his presidency. He was welcomed onto the field with thunderous roars and applause by 70,000 spectators in the stands before the game kicked off.
