Like many of her Democrat colleagues,, Representative Ilhan Omar was furious over the Department of Justice’s decision to drop their case against General Michael Flynn, and she suggested it was a result of “white privilege at work.”
The stunning development came after internal memos were released raising serious questions about the nature of the investigation that led to Flynn’s late 2017 guilty plea of lying to the FBI, Fox News reported.

In response to the DOJ dropping Flynn’s case, Omar tweeted, “White privilege at work.”
“Millions of people—mostly black and Latino men—spend years in jail trying to prove their innocence. Some die in jail,” she added. “Michael Flynn was exonerated for crimes *he admitted to* with the blink of an eye.”

Trump Jr. posted a screenshot of Omar’s tweet and wrote, “‘Privilege’ like marrying your brother to commit immigration fraud and not only getting away with it, but also getting elected to Congress dispite it.”
“Please spare us the bullshit!!! Thx,” he concluded.

Don Jr. is referring to the unproven allegation that Rep. Omar married her brother to assist his entry to the United States.
Despite Omar’s denial, the allegation has not been debunked, even by the left-leaning fact checker Snopes, which concluded, “the evidence uncovered thus far isn’t definitive enough to come down on one side or the other.”
