During an interview Friday with “CBS Evening News With Norah O’Donnell”, Joe Biden claimed that former President Donald John Trump should not receive intelligence briefings because of his “erratic behavior unrelated to the insurrection.”
Asked if the 45th President should still receive intelligence briefings, Biden replied without providing any clarity, “I think not. … Because of his erratic behavior unrelated to the insurrection”.
Norah O’Donnell followed up, telling Biden, “You’ve called [Trump] an existential threat. You’ve called him dangerous, you called him reckless.”
“Yeah, I have,” Biden immediately replied, appearing to recite possible rehearsed answers. “And I believe it.”
Asked what is his worst fear if former President Trump continues to receive intelligence briefings, Biden would not say, but instead told O’Donnell, “I’d rather not speculate out loud.”
“I just think that there is no need for him to have the intelligence briefings. What value is giving him an intelligence briefing? What impact does he have at all, other than the fact he might slip and say something?” he asked. Video Below

Former Acting Director of National Intelligence Richard Grenell responded to Biden’s remarks regarding whether or not the 45th President should receive intelligence briefings.
“Ridiculous. Joe Biden is the last person to be calling for intel briefings based on stable behavior,” Grenell wrote on Twitter Friday.

True. And everyone outside of newsrooms and NGO boardrooms knows this is true. https://t.co/4IfH3N3pkR
