USA For Trump Compilation

In recent days, various Republican lawmakers, including Matt Gaetz, Trey Gowdy and Robert Goodlatte, have been pressuring Attorney General Jeff Sessions to appoint a second special counsel. You can see the 13 lawmakers who are pressuring Sessions HERE.

This comes after newly released reports indicate potential FISA abuse by Barack Obama’s Administration on top of the handling of Hillary Clinton’s email scandal. On Wednesday, Sessions opened up to Fox News and hinted at his intentions regarding a second special counsel. VIDEO BELOW

In an interview on Fox News, Sessions said he will “consider seriously” appointing a second special counsel to look investigate the DOJ and FBI’s handling of probes into Trump’s Campaign.

Sessions said:

“Well, I have great respect for Mr. Gowdy and Chairman Goodlatte, and we are going to consider seriously their recommendations.

“I have appointed a person outside of Washington — many years at the Department of Justice — to look at all of the allegations that the House Judiciary Committee members sent to us and we are conducting that investigation.”

Sessions said the inspector general he appointed is looking into FISA abuse allegations, but admitted his IG is not very strong. However, he did point out the IG has “almost 500 employees, most of which are lawyers and prosecutors.” (Video Below)
