Reporter Nearly Falls Out Of Her Seat After What Congressman Just Labeled Illegal Immigrants

Left wing CNN reporter, Alisyn Camerota, almost flew out of her chair (euphemistically speaking). Why? Because Alabama’s state Republican state representative, Mo Brooks, dropped a truth bomb.

In his statement, Mo Brooks refers to illegal immigrants as “foreign nationals who illegally invade America.” And, this caused a major meltdown at CNN. (Video Below)

Alisyn begins by showing the congressman’s statement about the caravans.

“I fully support President Trump’s use of our military to secure the border against invasion by foreign nationals. Recent, highly publicized caravans of thousands of foreigners heading for America’s border emphasize that it is past time for Congress to reform laws that entice and reward foreign nationals who illegally invade America.”

This causes Alisyn to question him on why he uses the words “invasion” and “Illegal invasion.” In answering her, Mo Brook sends Alisyn back to SCHOOL. His answer is brilliant, and you will love it!

First, he kindly replies “because that is the word that applies. And if you go to the Webster’s dictionary, it absolutely fits that definition.” BOOM! Use the dictionary. That’s always a good place to start. (Video Below)

Second, Alisyn conflates LEGAL IMMIGRATION with ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. Mo backs it up with “Oh, you’re talking about legal immigration which is different than illegal aliens.”

Camerota responds with, “I understand.” And Mo, not letting up, says, “Are you sure? Let’s make sure, if you’re talking about lawful immigration.”

He continues, “We have the most generous lawful immigration policy on the planet. Nobody is as generous as the United States of America. What we’re talking about right now is illegal aliens over and above lawful immigration.” (Video Below)

Third, Camerota suggests that the caravan of illegal immigrants are all just political asylum seekers, when it’s really just people hiking across one country to get into ours illegally.

She asks Brooks how he knows that they are not all just political asylum seekers? He responds in the very best way possible saying, “because I READ!”

Enough said! Can’t really follow that up with too much. It’s so appropriate.

Reporter Camerota went back to school and Brooks taught her an important lesson on ILLEGAL vs LEGAL immigration.

Perhaps, many people from the CNN audience would benefit from Rep Brook’s true words. When you don’t fully understand something, the best place to start is with the DICTIONARY. Then maybe pick up a book (electronic or not) and READ about it.
